Why Youth Leadership Matters
At Help Without Frontiers (HWF), we believe young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow—they are the changemakers of today. Through our Youth Board Committee, we provide real opportunities for youth to take part in decision-making, share their voices, and turn ideas into action.
Over the past year, our Youth Board members have:
- Led over 25 active members in the Rays of Youth (RoY) network through regular meetings, capacity building, and youth-led campaigns.
- Trained and mentored peers during empowerment camps and leadership programs.
- Presented migrant youth concerns at both organizational and partner-level meetings.
- Collected local data on migrant issues and youth needs to help shape HWF’s programs.
- Interned across various HWF departments, gaining hands-on experience during school breaks.
- Strengthened Thai and English language skills, leadership, and organizational abilities.
These are not just activities—they are steps forward for youth empowerment, education, and community development.
