It is with great joy that 1,354 people participated at our Fun Run “Run To The Heart Without Frontiers” on 3 December 2017. We are delighted that so many people took part and enjoyed the run and hope that everyone was supported and encouraged by our team.
Early morning a coach from Play Onside woke us all up with a fun warm up session. After officially opening the event by Mr. Kannaphong Phiphatmontrikun (Assistant District Chief Officer) and Ms Siraporn Kaewsombat (Director of HWF), the 10 KM runners kicked off at 6.15 am. Shortly after, the 5 KM runners started. Around 20 minutes later the first runners of the 5 KM distance arrived in the finish.
We provided water, food and snacks for those who passed the finishing line and had booth exhibitions of our partners and other organisations were runners could mingle after their great achievements.
We are especially proud of the many participating students from both Migrant Learning Centres and Thai Government schools and honoured by the participation of runners from other Provinces of Thailand.
It was a true pleasure to partner up with so many partner organizations and friends of HwF for this inclusive event. Thanks to all volunteers who helped to make this event so successful. It is with gratitude that we enclose the list of our partners of the Fun Run:
