The E Saan Tum Home Festival took place on 27January 2018 in Udonthani walking streets and gathered food stands of different cuisines. The event was meant to be a space for children and youth to showcase their cultural heritage and exchange food traditions. As such, migrant children and youth proposed themselves as powerful actors for social change and cultural dialogue inasmuch as they enthusiastically involved the Thai public in the event.

The ROY team successfully participated to the festival giving us the change to reach out the Thai community. The Help without Frontiers menu offered "Moh Hin kha thout" (rice noodle salad) and "Lat Phat Yae" (Burmese hot tea). The ROY Music and Peer Youth teams entertained the public performing the Myanmar ethnic group traditional dance and singing “Just a dream”, a song of unity. The participants to the festival enjoyed our performance and fell in love with Burmese food.

Help without Frontiers Thailand would like to express its deepest gratitude to Foundation for Child Development (FCD) and Child and Youth Media Institute (CYMI) for having helped us, in collaboration with the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth) as well as with other supporters from the Mahasarakham University, in organising the E Saan Tum Home festival. In joining the festival, we had the chance to proudly feel that we belong to a great network committed towards helping migrant children and spreading their cultural value.
