On 17 February, the band of the Rays of Youth Music project participated to the AEC Music Contest in Mae Sot. It was the first time that the Mae Sot municipality organised such an event, with the aim of promoting the work of young musicians and sharing their talent with the local community.
The music contest was opened for youth under 22 years old. Six bands participated to the music contest, including the youth from Mae Sot high school and other schools in the Tak region.
It was a great chance for the Rays of Youth Music team to raise awareness on their work, show their talent and entertain the Thai public.
Thanks to months of preparation by their music teachers, the Rays of Youth band successfully competed with the other young bands and won the first prize! A golden cup and the 10,000 THB prize are the symbols of our pride.
